Here's my final figure showing the scattering efficiency of a sphere in Mie scattering, with the different multipole contributions illustrated. I ended up citing Wikipedia because I could not find a better choice of parameters than theirs!

Is the sphere diameter some simple multiple of 820 nm? I've never seen anything quite like this before
