English is so confusing. You put an -s at the end of plural nouns, but then you put an -s at the end of singular verbs.

Is it the same -s that moves around from one word to the other?

In Son of Batman the narrative is telling me that Bruce tamed Damien and stopped him from killing more people. But the events of the story tell me that it's Bruce who is more okay with killing people. He's okay with Damien killing Man-Bats and leaving Slade to his death.

I'm playing the 2015 Mad Max video game right now and when you die, the game just pushes you like 100 feet back from where you were with all the results kept and max health. The only punishment is that you know you were defeated by an obstacle.

My favorite deathless game is the 2008 Prince of Persia that have 3 kinds of challenges: platforming, duels and puzzles. The only way to lose a duel is by being knocked off the arena, making it a subset of platforming. And if you fall in platforming, the princess catches you.

Why does Denis Veilleneuve say that Dune Messiah is the end of Paul's story? Does he want Children of Dune to be a surprise reveal? I hate that. The Preacher being Paul was a rumor from the start. It wasn't a surprise reveal, it was a question whether if it's true or not.
