I've wondered specifically about this automatic-spam-call-blocker aspect of The Polling Issue, and whether we're like, sampling only people who have old or shitty cell phones or something?

I'm a millennial but my phone has a spam blocker that doesn't even show me the calls that would be coming from a pollster. And NYT/Siena is all phone. You'd have a way better chance of reaching me via the Pew method of sending out physical mail asking you to participate online. I get mail!

Biden v Trump is a pretty direct ageism thing. Trump is aging worse than Biden, but due to vanity and aging in different ways Trump codes as less old and therefore gets way less shit for it.

It also makes me feel insane that the rat fuck around Biden’s age and mental capacity is being uncritically spread around by Democrats when Trump is *incredibly obviously* grotesquely mentally incapacitated, in a way that is genuinely terrifying.

It makes me feel very much unmoored from reality to see all this *buying into* the Biden Too Old ratfuck narrative, days after the Supreme Court ruled that Trump gets to be dictator for life, just weeks after Trump became a convicted felon (oh, and there’s the Epstein stuff that just came out).

It absolutely drives me up a wall, and was half of my decision to stop donating, that NPR had brought one of the architects of the Family Separation policy on as a pundit.

I listened to NPR for like five minutes today. They had on Sarah Isgur to talk about what a tough spot Roberts was in because Biden was prosecuting his opponent for a crime for which he wasn’t impeached.
