got another denial on my disability appeal so yeah while i knew that wasn't going to be all that helpful nor immediate the repeat denial sucks nonetheless 🫠

🚨emergency commissions🚨🗣️ i have a lot of money to rack up to cover 2 months rent & bills and my current work simply won't get me enough in time, so extra commissions are seriously a lifesaver!! setting up a log of commishes keeps me paid and busy and housed!! 💖

Maybe Fun Home and Persepolis end up on best of lists cuz they're the only comics (by women) that people (who don't really respect the medium and don't read anything that doesn't appear on a NYT bestseller list) have ever read, but maybe also cuz they're two of the best comics ever fucking made??

It turns out the relative who pushed me off twit a while back found a way into my work email and deleted my account here "for me." 🙃 Who else is spending their weekend changing all their passwords and stuff? Anyone? XD

HVAC blower motor crapped out on us. Boooo.... probably not getting a lot of work done this week, cuz my office is literally a sauna right now.

Spent some time with the family at the river today, and as a few of us were complaining about some passive aggressive music battle happening, an older guy with a big silver beard floated past us and said "Imagine living here!" and then he asked us to check out his youtube channel. 😆

I'm 100% gonna check it out, because what if it's really good? Wouldn't that be a funny way to discover a new favorite youtuber, just randomly floating down the river?

Unhappy to report I cannot find his channel. Unfortunately, his username is also the name of a marvel character so... not a wise branding choice.

Okay, so. We philosophers call this epistemic injustice and epistemic violence. Epistemic injustice is an injustice that centers on attacking a person’s status as a knower. Epistemic violence is wielding one’s status as a knower to do harm to someone else as a knower.

I don't talk about what I know about certain shit on here because your knowledge and understanding is never good or pure enough for white people. They think they set the standards for respect and objectivity, and dictate the means of analyzing things. Like they invented science or thinking. Miss me.
