*quietly improving the visual descriptions in my work by reading the alt text of photographers and artists*
a good alt text is a beautiful lesson in synesthesia
I wish there was an account with maintenance reminders to use alt text and to use it for its intended purpose, without injecting opinion. I try to do it but then slip out of the habit.
You can change your settings to prompt you! Go to Settings>Accessibility and then toggle for the prompt as seen below.

And I’m out here trying to be purely technical in my alt text to not sound like I’m up my own ass haha
Oh but that’s just it! Unlike my own descriptions of art theirs are v technical and exact but still convey the mood.
