Sadly the old interurban trams are no longer running, but some hobbyists did run them on a short track in False Creek in the 90s.

Though development has transformed this once agricultural and industrial part of Burnaby’s south, it’s not long before heritage planner Lisa Codd finds the evidence of a rugged path where a much older rapid transit system once ran: the interurban. 🚂
