i used to believe the final bit but way too many software people buy teslas and “smart home” bs
can’t trust anyone
we added “smart” cameras and light switches but they’re not cloud-based but local network. & use homekit (standard). & the switches have physical radio remotes to fall back on.
Nothing "smart" I have has a camera or mic. Never.
Security cameras are local network, cloud nothing, and very secure.
Other "smart" devices are completely isolated from my internal network and each other.
Don't trust any of it.
