One of the lesser-noted things Trump did as President that always struck me as strange was, in December 2020, declare Classical Greco-Roman architecture to be the official architectural style of the US government and condemn modernist or brutalist buildings in DC
This was a thing in Nazi architecture. The idea was that the buildings would continue to convey the aesthetic value of Reich for thousands of years.
