Is it common for UK politicians to wear best in show ribbons like they're horses or dogs??
There is a 7 foot tall guy behind Rishi Sunak who likely ran for office just to be able to hold a printed out L behind him during his concession speech.

No thoughts about the 7 foot tall guy holding up a literal L, or the ventriloquist dummy like this is the world’s weirdest pageant?

I mean... Plus lord binhead is just out of view... All of those had already been discussed by other people in the replies. They make sense to me as joke/plural party candidates. We have both a Marxist/Leninist party and a Communist party. And they aren't joke candidates.

I’m up at the cabin and had a lovely day of boating and fishing and brats and beans. What’s a lord binhead?

Well, one expects political experience to bring a certain level of polish...

I am not very familiar with him. And called him the wrong name. But he is a regular political candidate iirc. (And just out of frame on the right in that quoted image) bsky.app/profile/mart...
The Monster Raving Loony Party no doubt... But where's Count Binface?

There was also previously a Lord Buckethead. So you might have been combining those.
