Oh no.
I forgot it's already time to sweat another far right takeover.
And to have to once again root for jerkball centrists I don't particularly like.
France is holding its parliamentary elections today.
Clear stakes: Will far-right end up governing France?
And if it fails, what possible coalition will end up governing given fragmentation?
You can follow me for results starting at 2pm ET; but a quick context 🧵:
bad luck for biden to run in an electoral cycle where "are you old" is the most important issue instead of in one of the cycles where email security procedures or accuracy of vietnam war medal citations was the most important issue in the country.
Seems like "what parts of Project 2025 do you disagree with?" or "what parts of it are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal?" would be good questions for a reporter to ask the other elderly presidential candidate, but what do I know.

As a side note, this is John McEntee, Trump's Director of White House Personnel and the primary architect of Project 2025. On Tik Tok he said he gives counterfeit bills to homeless people so they will be arrested when they go to spend them.
Nothing is stopping every single Democratic elected official and apparatchik from taking the airwaves every single day to articulately and decisively repeat a set of cogent talking points about Trump (ie 45). Nothing. Dem PACs could be slamming him with ads now. Stop whining and do that.
i’ll tell you what, man, if biden manages to survive and win another term, i hope he and his aides remember that it was mostly the ancient centrists — not the progressives and not the younger dems — who came behind up him with the knives, and that he responds in kind.
notably, “trying to assemble” and “has assembled” are two extremely different things and if he were able to do the latter, his ratshit ass wouldn’t be leaking the former.
Trump's supporters pre-Jan 6 spent months sharing blueprints for guillotines and gallows, planning chemical weapons attacks on the tunnels beneath the white house, and discussing the most painful ways to kill Pence, Pelosi, and Schiff. Trump egged them on. I personally don't want round 2.
I don't take the age thing seriously. THEY PICK A LIE ABOUT EVERY DEM, and the press knows it's some BS but plays along. They know that the other guy is worse in every way, especially his brain. They turned being a war hero into a liability against a fortunate son draft dodger.
report on the GOP freak running for NC gov: "he and his wife were cited for numerous violations at the child care center they operated from 2000 to 2007, including a charge that the center presented falsified certification documents to state inspectors." www.newsobserver.com/opinion/arti...
yes, we boiled the planet, but it was worth it to make a machine that, instead of adding two plus two, takes the statistical average of every answer to questions containing "what" "is" "two" and "plus" from a database of illegal cell phone transcripts and returns a fake nude pic of a high schooler
Homeowners can't get insurance in certain states because climate change is making it prohibitively expensive, but there's SEXUAL ASSAULT INSURANCE for churches
remember when a bunch of people and companies made a big deal about how they weren't going to donate to any of the election nullifiers in the House and then did it anyway a couple months later?
some bluffs get called
Tell me I'm wrong: A bunch of the media and donor class panicked, for good reason, after the debate. Made a big coordinated push to make Biden step aside. Didn't work, wounding pride of lots of big egos. Now too miffed to concede so stuck denying that Biden can win to justify continued aid to Trump.
Separate the art from the artist? Probably not going to be able to do that. Forget books, or music, or movies. I certainly can't do it for those. But can't do it for athletes. Or even sports announcers.
Hell, I can't do it for cookbooks.
I can't even do it for an EKG interpretation book.
So...no.
i refuse to believe that americans who watched the debate think that biden’s first 15 minutes are somehow stronger evidence of old age decline than falling asleep, *in public*, DURING YOUR OWN FUCKING CRIMINAL TRIAL, *IN COURT IN FRONT OF THE JUDGE AND JURY*, but, you know, i’m not a columnist.
Trump’s public schedule showed that on most days, he worked (“worked”), like three hours a day. And this isn’t even a “Biden can’t work late at night” issue. It’s a Biden is pulling back on SCHEDULED EVENTS that start after 8pm, which is actually a good idea for most people.
if the media could go ahead and treat this claim the way they treat Biden saying "I'm fine" - aka, as a lie that requires days on end of front page stories to debunk - that would be great
we'll be over here waiting
Trump is trying to get ahead of the reality that he and the heritage foundation are working to destroy America and institute a fascist dictatorship. He is lying and expecting the media to gaslight America for him.
Dragged myself onto the hellsite to report it and it reminded me that I partly left Twitter because all I did was report racism, misogyny, antisemitism and Islamophobia. It was like having a part time job in moderation without the pay.
"Pace myself up".
I know it's REALLY hard to grok, but pacing is not about increasing what you can do a little every day until you're back to normal. That's graded exercise therapy, and it does not work for people with PEM. 🧪 #MECFS#LongCOVID
Pacing is this: www.meaction.net/resource/pac...
