There are white men in business ,some famous some not, who didn’t finish high school, giving advice to Black folks about not needing a degree and I’m like “NOPE we are not the same”
I love this graph because it starkly demonstrates how dramatically different opportunity is distributed in this country. Black people have to have graduate degrees before they have more wealth than white HS dropouts.
But affirmative action is unfair.
And this apply to lots of white women who don’t need as much education to get jobs or promotions.
Is there a wage gap between them and white men?
Yep.
But there is also a wage gap between white women and other women of color
