The extent to which George Orwell would have hated Elon Musk can not possibly be overstated. I just read 1984 for the first time a few months ago and now it upsets me deeply that it’s always right wingers invoking it. Did you make it all the way to the appendix that most people ignore that changes the whole point of 1984? Yeah, I did. I had just finished reading Act 3 in one sitting and I wanted more, so I was like “I’ll read whatever this is” and I’m glad I did
