We are the BTS ARMY. Sorry if the massive influx is overwhelming. We are looking for an alternative for Twitter to be able to interact with each other about BTS. 💜

Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm not complaining - I think furries and K-pop fans are signs of a thriving social media ecosystem - just curious if there was a triggering event on twitter or something.

Jin of BTS recently got out of the military, plus his bandmates Jimin and RM both have new music out. Then Ateez have just made a comeback, Golden Hour, so that's a big thing too. And of course Twitter has been getting progressively more crap, so we all came here.

I'm with you; I'm curious about any possible inciting event, but I've found tech systems work better when both of those groups are present. (Plus cat people)

Over in an announcement thread some of them said it was because Space Whiner's design edicts like making replying harder and removing visible like counts would undermine how the community likes to operate.
