Well women's life plans are irrelevant, it only matters when a man wants kids anyway... even if he's hypothetical and the woman is very real
the man *and* the children are hypothetical (after all, there's never a guarantee a pregnancy will happen or result in birth), but those hypotheticals are always more important than anything real
Anyway I love my hysterectomy, 10/10 would recommend
