Yes, on my mac, you use the touchpad/mouse to long-press on the text until it highlights, then adjust to capture. Long-press on a long word makes the handles easier to catch. Couldn’t tell you on windows because my only windows machine is a 95 that doesn’t go online, but Spouse says it works there.

Okay, this is why I’m an alt-text warden and will not stop: When I was 32, an Ophthalmologist diagnosed me with the genetic version of glaucoma, which is a risk factor I have. I was at the pre-treatment phase, so all we could do was watchful waiting because glaucoma is a neural damage. 1/

They’ve been doing this in California on fire prone hillsides, but nothing as cute as goats in town parks.

Nice. Here, the city uses a flock of sheep (and a shepherd) to mow parks.

I’ve just learned from my sister that in the municipal parks departments in Brittany they have a fleet of goats who ‘mow’ the park lawns. 🐐 🌾

As former national co-chair of a corporate initiative for women of all sexualities and genders that Laurent Grosso neon artwork I saw at the AGO yesterday was really impactful.

Laurent Grosso neon- so political and so relevant today. Laurent Grosso était inspiré pars les écrits de Michel Foucault avec cette pièce d’art en néon.

Always read the plaque 👇 (And @savasavasava.bsky.social - he’s talking cultural theory and surveillance societies)

Yup - me too! It’s too bad for its release timing. I think it would at least have gotten a sequel.

I’m just going to get very little work done on WomensArt2 profiles until my sister is away at her cottage rental. So tentatively I’ve got - Frida Kahlo (five days late!) on Friday - A Black queer neurodivergent artist for Disability Pride Month (she is AMAZING) on Sunday

I know this parking 🅿️ lot!

And it’s true it’s been pretty rainy here with the rollercoaster 🎢 temperatures so that may be why , Mo. it seems so unfair when the south west of the states 🇺🇸 is in a multi-year drought.

I sent my sister and nieces to go browse in stores (faire la lèche vitrines) down Roncesvalles Avenue. Which is nice because it’s one of the prettiest high streets on earth.

We normally have lilacs bloom in June. This year they came in early May and now again in July.

My sister heads to eastern Ontario on Friday so I’m writing them and I’ll get Sinéad and a few others to join your campaign as well.

Get that virtual pencil sharpened - especially since there’s more interest in him.

We called him Sir Chonks actually! Well you have seven seasons of amazing television a head of you. Katie McGrath ☘️ (from Supergirl) basically chews scenery every time she’s on screen as Morgana .. and well John Hurt is superlative as always.

It’s an upside but also really unnerving, Uwe. Gm!

Oh lovely! Thank you for the recco! And I’ve loved your account so much. You’ve brightened up this skyline for the ten and a half months I’ve been here.

You and me both, Bearded Pip

The lilacs have started blooming for a second time in this climate emergency.
