Waiting for the dealers den to open, hanging out in the convention center drawing and enjoying my morning coffee while furries walk everywhere. If every morning were like this, I could deal.

In line to pick up my badge. I’m pretty sure the line must almost loop the convention hall by now. And evidently it doesn’t open for another hour. Which would be fine, if my iPad weren’t at 17%

My pre-trip anxiety and I are staying up late before my flight tomorrow to worry about extremely unlikely scenarios entirely out of my control. It’s our ritual.

Since I finally tested negative for covid yesterday I can say for sure I will be at AC this year. I'm relieved, I've been looking forward to it. It'll be my first time back since 2011!

be less afraid to create clumsy comics. awkward tangents. amateur lettering. weird sequentials and pacing. You Can Just Make it. you dont need to be trapped in a cycle of perfectionism and imposter syndrome when you could have a finished work instead. print that thing out and staple it!!!

I created Brynk a while ago. As much as he is me, he’s also a character- my physical and personality traits exaggerated to be funny, or to vent, or just to draw a bunny with big floppy ears. For fun I thought I’d see how I’d design him if he were a bit more representative of myself now, at 48.
