We heard your feedback, and we’ve added the ability to turn off vibrations in the app. In your Settings page, this is the “Disable haptics” setting.

On iOS, we have finally fixed the issue that caused the “bio” section of the profile to be unscrollable!
We’re still tuning the solution, so let us know if you find issues.

On Web, hovering over a user’s avatar now shows a card that summarizes the user’s profile! This also applies in a couple of other handy places, like mentions in posts.

We’ve changed up how logged out users see Bluesky! Now they can browse the feeds, giving them a better window into our community.
Of course, accounts with “Don’t show my account to logged out users” enabled will not be shown.

One more thing!
Search got some improvements. You should get better results when searching for users, and searching in Japanese should work much better.
DM's needs to be implement inside the protocol (which AT Protocol that Bluesky uses).
They're working on it, but it's not their priority right now, because of the difficulty implementing it inside the protocol (and not the app itself).
Also, it would be better if the “translation” button didn’t redirect users to the google translator website, but instead translated it instantaneously. I don’t if that is possible though
Waiting for the update where we can just type in the url without needing to add the front part ourselves.. example: katception.com should work, but it doesn’t because I didn’t add the https://
Oh also, even if I type that url, it still doesn’t work :) I have to copy and paste links for them to work here on the app.
Soooo many things wrong with this site, why was it made public before everything was fixed ??
So far I was getting rather no results when searching and not just searching users. Does improvements mean that the search will actually do something instead of yielding no results or totally irrelevant results?
Please be sure to label all posts that use the generated AI. I would like to be able to report anyone who did not label theirs. There are a lot of generated AI images flooding bluesky in Japanese-speaking countries. I do not want to see anymore. I also don't want to see someone's work stolen.
IOS: setting remains unchanged.

So far so good for me. I wonder why this happens so often to some people and never to others.
