Diving into reviewing the copyedit today. So far--the copyeditor, instructed by two editors that I insist on the Oxford comma, consistently removed them.
And I'm consistently stetting them.
It's an intrinsic part of your voice as an author; the cadence and emphasis are different when an Oxford comma is used.
Sometimes I choose to use it, other times, I do not. But it's always a conscious choice
