Plans to ban legal weed and porn might be the sort of thing that gets some less engaged voters and “lol nothing matters” voters to care.

I probably should print up some notices and hand them out to the various people running the *five* separate weed stores my city of 8,000 has.

And weed stations in the UP are filled with Wisconsin license plates (where the GOP Legislature keeps blocking the legalization of weed). Win-win in 2 swing states by supporting legalization.

Same for Twin Cities dispensaries. Wisconsin cops camp out on the 94 bridge for cars coming back from MN, though.

I think the point is less this individual item and more using all the lovely bad ideas to microtarget

Gotta also think about pushing this point in states where weed is not legal yet, but which border states where it is. I can imagine a lot of WI folx who take the occasional IL/UP trip for provisions will care a lot about this.

Agree. I have a Central Lake address, but live basically in Eastport, at the northern tip of Torch Lake. Lots of weed stores all over the area.

It rules that it's virtually impossible for Republicans to campaign on legal weed. It's already legal in most blue and swing states, and a push for legalization elsewhere just pisses off the police and corrections unions, lmao
