That might be the furthest reach I’ve ever made for a mediocre joke.

Now my mind's gone off on a tangent because I'm remembering how upset people got about Wind Waker's cel-shaded look and it's interesting that the Link's Awakening remake style this game also uses didn't cause a similar outcry, since it's also cute and cartoony and not at all realistic.

Yeah, they showed the trailer on the Direct today and it looks great. Zelda's the playable character and it's all based around making items to solve puzzles (and fight things, but that's clearly not a priority). And it's all in that Link's Awakening HD style, which I love.

I’m so excited that we won’t have to wait until next year, which is what I thought we’d get once they started the trailer.

Especially considering nearly everything else they showed is next year with no concrete release date! Though with Metroid Prime 4 I expect people are just happy they've confirmed it's really happening.

I still need to finish Metroid Dread and Metroid Prime Remastered, though knowing me I’ll wait until the last minute. Also excited for the Shire game aka Hobbit Crossing.
