It's the statue of Hachiko, an Akita dog. Hachiko is famous 4 waiting 4 his master who had already passed away. He continued 2 wait at the station every day for nearly 10 years until his own death. Now, the statue of Hachiko is a popular meeting spot, which is why there are so many people around it.
