Do you know why so many of us don't mind when we see powerful and hateful people get their comeuppance? Yeah, part of it is the satisfaction of watching someone who is horrible actually get some taste of karma, but it's mainly that we know the damage they've caused, the lives they've destroyed.

You ever see an artists work thats so inspiring it drives you to experiment in new mediums? For me that artist is Kristen Egan and their carved wood, paper, clay, and acrylic painted masks. I'm sure there are artsy therians that follow me that might find their work inspiring too.

it is good to remember that the so-called "liberal allies" who are currently going after trans women will also go after gay people, people of color, disabled people, etc. as soon as they're inconvenienced by them. supporting trans people is the litmus test and a lot of your favs are failing it.
