“Nigel Farage must believe in fairies.”
The Reform-supporting Daily Telegraph on the party’s manifesto: "Unfortunately for those hoping for a serious policy prospectus, the document has the imagination and incontinence of a back of a fag packet doodle after a hearty lunch."
Let's not get ahead of ourselves... There are tough choices ahead.

Baby steps.
Reform UK has published its manifesto. They plan tax cuts which they say will cost £70bn; however our analysis shows that they've miscalculated, and the actual cost will be at least £93bn. taxpolicy.org.uk/2024/06/17/r...
Is this the telegraph trying to increase the size of the conservative party so they can build back in fewer parliamentary terms?
I mean, it’s not that the telegraph has demonstrated any desire to be truthful, is it?
Why on Earth would Farage join the Tories? Instead of being biggest goldfish in the Reform bowl he'd be swimming in a bigger pool with sharks, and not in charge of the cash and the rulebook anymore.
Google Canada GE 1993 & the aftermath for Canada's Progressive Conservatives & Reform parties.
Farage's aim is not to join the Tories, his aim is for RefUK to take them over. Or "merge" as they will phrase it.
Perhaps because the Tories are a political party and Reform is a company of which he is just MD and more Tory MPs (what is left of them) would add to his power grab.
