Fuck this. Fuck everything. You can have super-duper Democratic president and Senate, and it doesn't matter a bit, because last century someone appointed asshole judges for lifetime positions.

You need the House, Senate & Presidency. And when these old farts on SCOTUS meet their maker you need a president that will replace them. They expect at least two appointments next term.

Need to have Dem control of the house to initiate an impeachment. Then you need 64 Democrats in the senate or the impeachment of *any* GOP figure for *anything* isn’t going anywhere. If we had the house we could (and I think should) try to impeach them essentially as a messaging move but 1/2

Or you add several more SCOTUS judges and reform the federal judiciary, adding many more federal judges, which also helps deal with the backlog of cases.

You need the house, senate & president to have any hope of reforming the judiciary

Beat the republicans over the head with it. Over and over. Do *something*. Don't just sit and go 'well this is how it's always been'. We can't return to normalcy because the normalcy is dead. The republicans killed it.

Increase the number of judges on circuit courts by 10x. No reason not to.

They’re going to sabotage every future Dem president - they won’t be able to govern. Someone should throw a milkshake at John Roberts.
