Been a very hard week. Color School's songwriter Jerry Hergenreder passed away in his sleep. I played with Jerry throughout the '80s in the Young Caucasians and for the past dozen years or so in several iterations of Color School. You can hear Color School here. Because she went to school on an Army scholarship, Ginny als became became Captain Bixby immediately and my Dad administered the oath for her in the lobby of Lisner Auditorium.

Yes friends, in our home it's Dr. Bixby Day once again. Despite the erroneous date on the pic, Ginny graduated from med school on May 31 and became Dr. Kalish on June 1st, making this the sole day that she was Dr. Bixby. And it gives me an excuse to post this amazing pic.

Going out to get the paper and I noticed that the yard waste can had been emptied so I went to put it away. Top of the can on the ground full of yellow liquid. DOG OWNERS, is this acceptable?
