Star jasmine is having its season right now and it tends to project its voice in clouds that drift many feet away from the source, especially in the evening.
It’s too late in the season. A friend suggested it might be linden because those are in bloom, I think I’m getting a mix of linden and honeysuckle from the alley.
It’s very sweet and very fresh/herbal at the same time. Super pretty to have filling my apartment. One thing I’ll miss about this city are the alleys bursting with flowers and vines and fruit all summer.
