Related, since I keep seeing it come up: Newsom can’t be Kamala’s VP, the two executives can’t come from the same state. It’s a good rule, really.

I also don’t think Whitmer or Newsom would step in for a risky ass swap that’d tear apart the party when they’re so clearly positioned for 2028 But 🤷 stranger things I’m willing to bet money Biden still leads the ticket. The campaign funds couldn’t even be released other than to Kamala
