True, one would wish though that these men should show the same emotionality when dealing with real loss (and don't wreak havoc on a town after a win)

1/ There are some people like me that are not emotional sorts. Yes I experience it, but I guess there was something that broke in me. I experienced quite a lot of bad shit then finally in my third rehab I was sitting in detox and just broke the fuck down and was wailing.

2/ after that...back to just being an unsentimental person trying to dodge the constant anxiety. I am working really hard to be more emotional for my son...because I don't want to be like my dad in this respect, who also I only ever saw cry once in my life...only ever expressed anger.

Good on you for working to break that generational trauma

3/ The guy in the tweet clearly is not like that because I recognize that how I experience emotion is a problem and I work on it. Its another reason I stay single. I am not a joy to be with.

Not experiencing your emotions fully due to experiencing trauma is so valid and so different than branding violence & anger as "not an emotion" because you have been trained by society to mistake your feelings for facts. That guy was the latter Your experiences are nothing like his weird attitude ❤️

The terrifying reality is that anger, for whatever reason (usually a stupid one they should go to therapy for) is their baseline. They assume it’s normal for all men.
