I guess everyone conveniently forgot he was all “gay marriage will destroy the sanctity of marriage,” in the early 2000’s? Do they think he sincerely changed his beliefs? Or that he magically became less of a bigot? It appears Canadians are easily influenced. 😑 This doesn’t bode well.

There are a distressing number of Canadian voters who are easily swayed by cynicism, selfishness, ignorance, apathy and wilful blindness. But a lot of that attitude comes from a distrust of Parliament. And there are few MPs who are blameless in contributing to that distrust.

Oh believe me, I know people can be selfish. I live in Ontario and we got a Ford government because he promised cheaper beer. Then he started cutting healthcare like he promised not to, selling off the Green Belt even though he promised not to. But hey, they got cheaper beer. 🙄

Oh man I wanted to scream when he won both times. I live in Toronto and his brother was bad enough.
