I guess everyone conveniently forgot he was all “gay marriage will destroy the sanctity of marriage,” in the early 2000’s?
Do they think he sincerely changed his beliefs? Or that he magically became less of a bigot?
It appears Canadians are easily influenced. 😑 This doesn’t bode well.
There are a distressing number of Canadian voters who are easily swayed by cynicism, selfishness, ignorance, apathy and wilful blindness.
But a lot of that attitude comes from a distrust of Parliament. And there are few MPs who are blameless in contributing to that distrust.
