We’ve started watching the 2022 series of Interview with the Vampire. I really like that the framing device for the sequel/reboot is: “We’ve done this before, but we were being Unreliable Narrators. We’ll do it properly this time.” But memory is still fallible and experience subjective.

Sometimes when people talk about (terrible but expensively made) shows and say “the writing is so good” I think: You’ve never watched AMC’s “Interview with the Vampire” have you? Good TV and film writing has snap, crackle and pop! I suspect too many people equate nice visuals with good writing

Probably the greatest network comedy ever made.

Watching season 1 of Arrested Development on a loop yet again and pouring one out for Jessica Walter. 🐐🐐🐐
