Problem being, I’m not certain I have candidates on the ballot that would be good for my most vulnerable friends, so here we are settling for “least bad”
There are at least 2 candidates running that have policies that greatly intersect with what the people want
trusting them to put it into action is different all together
if they never get the chance we can only blame ourselves
I’d guess that a sizable majority of Americans want us to stop arming Israel for genocide- who do I pick for that?
Or how about the trans kids I teach - who’s looking out for them?
Or my undocumented neighbors - I haven’t seen any candidates propose anything other than brutality, so…?
There was a quote from a Canadian politician about this, but I cannot locate it. I know it is the library of the high school named after him. Basically a society should be judged by how it treats its most vulnerable.
Any chance you do another one with “I’ve fully read and understood Project 2025”, because it looks like a lot of people haven’t. This could be their last election ever and way too many people aren’t cognisant of that. Cheers.
