America is burning to the ground and we have people like George Conway talking about replacing Biden on the ticket. We are four months away from the election. Replacing our candidate isn't a feasible option at this point. Either get behind Biden or get the fuck out of our way.

Watching legal pundits on MSM give their opinions about the Roberts Court. I want to know if they belong to or have they supported the Federalist Society? I want them to be asked about Leonard Leo and Harlan Crow & dark money. Before they give their opinion about anything.
The "Replacers" have never taken a PoliSci class. In the primaries our choices were Biden, Trump, and RFK Jr. That's it. Voters voted on those choices alone. Now suddenly they want a candidate the voters DIDN'T vote on? The lawsuit would be filed before the announcement ended.
As for history, in 1968 Hubert Humphrey and Edmund Muskie went for the nomination. Muskie was the popular choice, but he wasn't seen by the Dems as "presidential" and nominated Humphrey. We ended up with Richard Nixon.

I agree. Switching candidates at this point is a huge gamble. No doubt it was a terrible night for Dems, watching Biden struggle. But if it was a result of travel and a cold and he can bounce back, much better to ride it out. Don't forget that Trump himself was awful that night.
Also, a President is rarely left to do the job on his own. With qualified advisers and subject matter experts always at hand, the real job is judgment. I'd stack Joe's judgment against Trump's any day of the week. And Trump will surround himself with lackeys whose only qualification is fealty.
If Joe Biden steps down or is replaced, they need to do it as soon as possible and everyone needs to get behind one candidate. We can't have Chaos in our party. Our democracy is at serious risk if Trump wins. I would still vote for Biden no matter what.
Heβs not stepping down. He raised over 236 million dollars in the 2nd quarter of June. He raised over 25 million between the day of the debate and the day after. The voters have spoken.
