I don't like who I am when I talk about Cube (1997). Bela Lugosi Meets A Brooklyn Gorilla deeply hurts me, but I don't know that I despise it. Tintorera just makes me fucking angry.

And I worry even mentioning Tintorera will make people want to see it. Don't. It's has a lot of scenes of people just killing real live sharks and it assumes the audience wants to look at that.

I want to see fake sharks killing actors, not real people killing real sharks

Yes, THIS is what people want. And I got stuck in a theater watching it and stayed because I had seen too many Cantonese movies and was like, "Well, I've already seen the real shark killed." But I made a horrible mistake that I regret.

I think that was one of the rate times I had to tap out.

I did not want to show that movie. I told the other DiM Capos if they showed it I would not be there, but then everyone couldn't host and the people thought they wanted to see it. You were wise to tap out and I'm sorry I wasn't more firm about not showing it. I would be now.

And at least in a movie like Wake in Fright the animal cruelty serves a real purpose.
