need a Nordic murder show where the detective is named something like Knut Vibës- he drives a yellow Volvo P1900 and is called in to solve crimes that resist traditional investigation techniques by consulting elves and interpreting the Aurora Borealis
Not entirely fit the description, but there's "Trapped". The detective drives an old SUV and the way he solves crimes is by interviewing the potential suspects at their homes over a coffee in some small Icelandic towns

If you haven't seen The Minister yet, I heartily recommend it, I think it's the best I've ever seen him in anything (& I LOVED Trapped!) I'll have to go check out NOS4ATU as well 😁
