Some advice after 25 years of work in Egypt/living in AL: 1) Liquid IV is best electrolyte/salt hydration drink (or Pedialyte) 2)If overheated, cool shower, then colder bath (slow temp decrease) 3) Freeze bottles of water. Put between legs (crotch)+ under armpits+ at neck. Will cool blood rapidly

Check on your people. Heat waves aren’t generally regarded as the most deadly of natural disasters but they often are.

Some people want the high end shit every year or so, true. But most of us already balk at the idea of paying $1k for a cell phone, and the longer we can keep this singular expensive purchase functioning and viable the better. There is no good compelling reason to upgrade so frequently anymore.

There are many words in Portuguese that have similar meanings in English. But, there are some words that are just close enough, but not quite the same. "Constipada" is one example. Many would think it means constipation, but it actually means congested (as in traffic, clogged nose, etc)
