If I gave someone a TI-89, who had never seen or head of it, they'd probably find it useless. It takes a lot of time to learn how to use these tools.

After the children are taught how to use them. Sure. I don't know how many times I've had to remind people to do reality checks because they just write down whatever the calculator says.
