Indonesian food is great. Also there are so few places in America or Europe where it’s easy to find. I saw somewhere that Indonesia has one of the smallest diasporas relative to population of any country. But if there’s anywhere you should find it, the Netherlands would be it.

I know there is a small diaspora in Philly, but other than that, its a tough find in the US.

San Francisco has one or two Indonesian places. San Diego used to have one. But they are pretty sparse. So is Burmese but we actually have one in Davis now!

The Hague, Amsterdam are great places to find excellent Indonesian food. Surprisingly, Berlin too.
