It's "cool" to hate Creed and Nickleback. They're not great, but they're not as bad as some people make them out to be.

"many elite supporters" but no one on the record - excuse the language, but this is so fucking irresponsible. Are you an insider with relevant information? We get that you have jobs and reputations you think are important. But we're barreling towards a Trump presidency w/o institutional guardrails.

In addition to @smotus.bsky.social tweet on this w/re to Trump Biden has presided over a major economic recovery that has outpaced every other major economy in the world. Domestic violence has decreased. A pandemic is under control. NATO is stronger. That is a great way to govern!
IMO this is a straight-up ageist and ableist image, no?

Trump organized an insurrection, got some of his closest allies and hundreds of supporters jailed for it, got impeached and indicted in multiple criminal cases for it, ended the US's tradition of peaceful transitions of power, and last week promised he'd do it all again. And this is the headline.

To paraphrase @smotus.bsky.social I don't necessarily think editors at major media are conservative bootlickers but I don't know what would be different if they were.

Someone needs to explain to the owner/political editors of the NYTimes what the introduction of a personalized autocratic regime means for their survival.
7/1/2024 will go down as one of the worst days in American history, and this is how the NYT website was covering it yesterday, under seven (7)(VII) articles about Biden's age.
