I never read the book, but I was very into Stanwyck and watched it. A little corny for the time, but RKO was like that. It’s all over the free streamers. Worth it if you’re lost for something to watch. 😁

Not a bad movie. Fun. Stanwyck is the standout of course. Story based on Gypsy Rose Lee’s book “The G-String Murders”. It’s like a non-violent giallo.
