Posting more pics of Daphne than usual because I'm a bit concerned. She's suddenly very cuddly, gets sick a lot, and there's a weird lump on her tail. Vet appt on Tuesday; my gut tells me something is wrong. 😥
Charlie has a couple weird lumps. They turned out to be mast cell tumours! He's getting them surgically removed soon but theyre harmless as long as they're dealt with. And in my experience, cats get distant rather than cuddly when they're distressed/unwell. So hopefully it's all a coincidence (1/2)
and hopefully Daphne will be all good :) I'm sorry this is happening though. It's so scary to be in medical limbo and unable to ask them what is wrong. (2/2)
Thank you, I hope it's an overreaction on my part. She leans into me for pets but when I get anywhere near her tail she flips out. Hoping Tuesday is a first step toward clarity. 🤞
