So either there are millions of 65 plus year olds who are fleeing to the US or tens of millions immigrants who have been working under the table and yet paying into payroll taxes and will be allowed to benefit from them?
I once read a piece called “the tyranny of the marginal user” that stuck with me, which thesis was that as the user base of a software system grows, there’s big pressure to make it worse, because the *next* user has increasingly bad expectations about software.
I think about that and pundits a lot.
