Got this incredible message from a guy on IG. This is why I refuse to anglicize my name for print, even tho it would help my career. Having a very Arabic/Muslim name has hindered my employability my whole life, but it might make it easier for kids like Tarik in the future. I really needed this.

There's just nothing better about making comics than seeing new comic art come in. When I was at DC as an editor there was nothing more fun than getting a new great page and shouting for all of my colleagues to run to my computer to take a look at it. Magic stuff.

Last two pages of amazing lineart came in on writing project 3...part 1...

I was pretty bullish last week on Bikeriders being my favorite movie or 2024 so far and I still adore it. But I just saw THELMA and it blew me away. If you see it and it doesn’t bring you some joy; I would be shocked.

Heartbreaking news. I truly loved Martin Mull’s work, he had such an amazing voice, tremendous comedic timing and brought something so distinct to every role he played. A great loss for the world of entertainment.
