Tried to tell myself that 41 wasn't so young and he'd gotten a solid life in and then I remembered that I turn 40 this week and eff all that he deserved another 30 or more. I'm so sorry to the friends and family that had to watch him go through this. Been there, wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I’m speechless. I’m so sorry

It's not fair. I remember how occasionally candid he was about all the difficulties his brother went through. To lose Scott far too early as well is just tragic. My heart goes out to his family and friends, I wish I had known him better than just as a passing mutual on social media.

This sucks -- I was hoping that he was doing better with his treatments. Condolences to those who knew him. I always enjoyed reading his stuff.☹️
