Texas really playing first amendment bingo in attacking the right to protest, the right to assemble, and the right to cover the protests Just got this email from the University of Texas:
this email was built from the ground up to be a deposition exhibit.
"Obstructing a highway or passageway"
How the fuck are they gonna argue a lawn is a passageway?
Everyone always stops in the middle of a protest to check their email
This email could have been a text, Ashley.
The protestors should start holding some kind of religious ceremony, just to really cover the spread.
“In the name of the people of the state of Texas” is trying to do some biblical work there.
Do we genuinely have any of these rights? I'm not sure we do.
And will get away with whatever extreme measures they take with this SCOTUS “interpretation “ of the constitution. Shoot first, let courts bail them out later.
