Anyone catch the film HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS? Delivers exactly what it promises in the title (but also not that at all.) A live-action Looney Tunes about a fur trapper trying to make his way in the world. Very funny/strange - never goes where you expect (unless it would make you laugh.) Recommended.

It always amazes me when I see people respond to the latest psychotic episode by an unfathomably wealthy person by saying “if I was as rich as you I would simply be normal.” That seems like the opposite of what wealth so extensive as to provide unaccountable power encourages in people!

As good a summary of this magnificent piece of story as any prospective reader could want. CURSE WORDS - get it before it gets you!

Finished the omnibus of @charlessoule.bsky.social and Ryan Browne’s CURSE WORDS: in which an evil wizard comes to destroy our world, realises he likes it here and decides to be a good guy instead but is TERRIBLE at it. Outrageous and hilarious, with a canny eye for long-term storytelling. Loved it.

Writers! What is the highest number of stories you have had in active production simultaneously? (Not including idle musings; we’re talking pen to paper/hands to keyboard.) I’m at six right now (seven if you count that damn album I’m almost done with.) I *think* my record is 8, but could be wrong.
