Tried this on a whim at my local Korean market (Joong Boo). This is like spicy instant mac & cheese ramen. Real spicy too, not "spicy". The "carbonara" here seems to just mean a powdered "mozzarella" cheese packet to add to the sauce.

I'm not saying this to brag about it, or even to dunk on this person, but simply to set expectations & evolving social norms: I block anyone making replies like this. (And I'm not exactly a Weigel stan or anything)

I'm putting this into a screenshot just because she auto-deletes posts after 2 days (according to her profile, at least), and I want to be able to recall what this is about

So, I took a bitters making class in May & I have way more than I know what to do with. I was being experimental, & it's a bit of a mish-mash. Licorice-y (more than I intended) & also floral. Like a softer absinthe. Right now, I don't have a better idea for it than putting some in whiskey.

Anyway, Seun Kuti was great, worth the trip. I've seen him twice before, but the last time was 8 years ago. The Philharmonik was great as well, I hadn't heard him before.

Got drenched running home. I was hoping that not posting "Could be worse. Could be raining" would save us from the rain, but no dice. Good thing this was our stop, the train didn't look like it was going much further for a while
