I work in a Chicago suburb that went about 50% Trump in 2020. They have a Pride festival organized/hosted through the Presbyterian Church and the Chamber of Commerce. The people making that happen give me so much hope.

An aspiring dictator & convicted felon w history of treason may win the presidency. Profoundly corrupt SCOTUS justices undermined the constitution and gave him immunity from prosecution for past & future crimes. This is all political journalists should be writing about 24/7. We’re at the precipice.

It’s one thing to look at maps and learn that Michigan is next to big lakes. I did that all my life. Experiencing it is something else entirely.

There have been weeks gone by that I haven’t given a moments thought to Joe Biden, and all the while my life keeps getting better since he became president. Pundits can’t imagine it (it’s their job to think about the President) but this is reality for most Americans and we want more of it

Just at the most basic level it is really unhealthy to have to thought about Donald Trump as much as everyone in America has over the last nine or so years. Spending a decade of my life thinking about a super boring, super shitty crook and all the bad stuff he's doing or might do. It's embarrassing.

CNN is a joke. But Joe Biden did win a debate against a nazi. He spoke the plain truth, addressing issues of real concern like climate change and child care affordability. It’s tragic how little of the post-debate coverage has focused on the issues. He did the same in 2020 debates.

CNN sucks. But they cant help u win a debate against a Nazi. U cant win. Because you will never get your point across if the entire exercise is just fact checking the Nazi. A Nazi just wants to use the exercise as a way to platform their lies. Thats it. So the only way you win is to not play.
