Every time I see Ken Watanabe in something I quietly get mad. Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic talent. No, I get mad because he has the same name as my childhood best friend and that makes trying to find him EXTREMELY difficult.

I'm exhausted, but can't sleep. Apparently I'm back to sleeping four hours a day, but split into two chunks. Blargh.

Athens — Week 2 I’ve been in Athens for about a week and a half now and… things aren’t going so well. I’m alone. I’m lonely. I feel isolated and… just real bad. I’ve been having a hard time adjusting my sleep schedule because I’m in a deep depression and it’s extremely hot out here.

I tried to express joy over being four years removed from comic book retail--namely because that means I don't have to be a captive & receptive audience to any and every customer who wants to talk about News Events--and people think the WORST thing I might be referencing is a bad cover or story arc.

Remember that time I flew to Greece and then, in the first two nights, ate an entire pizza by myself each night? Those were good times.

Landed in Athens. Took a bus. Dragged my stuff up hill. Waited. But now I'm in the apartment and I'm gonna crash so hard!

Made it to Amsterdam and through passport control with a few compliments. Flight was uneventful and gave me ten hours to listen to Warhammer nonsense.

At the airport. Through security. And at the gate. I guess this is really happening.

I'm real scared.

Big suitcase is at exactly 50 lbs and the small suitcase and my personal item are packed. Other than charging my devices I'm all set to go. Bleh.

According to my home scale my large bag is 0.1 lbs. under the weight restriction. I'm feeling pretty good.

I've been told I'm handling this all quite well - surprisingly well, even.
