If you have home charging I say go for it!!! It’s a great car and it’s not frustrating like a lot of EVs are

we don't, yet, but that's part of my personal plan to be fossil-fuel-free by 2026 or so (we have home solar) 2 kids and big dogs, it's van or 3-row eventually lol.

The calculus is different when you're a guy who has to choose vehicles based in part on how far back the driver's seat can push back

For the smaller family (we have an '04 Outback right now) would you recommend the EV-6?

EV6 or Ioniq5, same platform, are my two favorite EVs currently made. I personally prefer the Kia but they’re both incredibly well thought out cars with solid range for the price!
